Ever since I can remember I have celebrated New Year's Eve on my couch, in comfy pajama's, watching Dick Clark with my family. As this is the first year married, second year over 21, and third year as a couple, one thing stayed the same; champagne. I adore champagne.
Jordan had the idea to have a New Year's Eve party at our friends house. Since it was put together last minute I ended up being the only female. Not a big deal really, since I like most of his friends and my brother was going to be there. So I took on the responsibility of being in charge of the food. And I was awesome at that. I aquaired all the food nessecary to make 6 grown men happy, i.e. chicken nuggets, bagel bites, chips and salsa, cheese and crackers, and, my favorite contribution to the evening, cream cheese crab dip. They loved it, and it was pretty delicious.
So we spent hours playing a movie trivia game which I rock at (I got second place) and we stopped the game just in time to watch Dick Clark count down the New Year. When the ball dropped we all toasted and sipped champagne. Realizing I was the only female present with a husband I blurted out "kiss!" and turned to Jordan for our first smooch to the New Year married. It was pretty spectacular.
Hope your New Year's Eve was filled with happiness and champagne!
(Jordan was the sweetest and bought my favorite, Mosacto. And it's pink!)
