winter leadership convention

last weekend Jordan and i had the opportunity to attend a Leadership Convention for our business in Louisville, KY. it was such an exciting and refreshing weekend spent learning and hanging out with friends and leaders.

1:: we had our main sessions in the aptly named Freedom Hall
2:: dinner with our organization where we meet our leaders
3:: spent most of our time in this giant room learning
4:: stopped at this Culver's for dinner with our team in Columbus, IN on the drive home

this weekend was just what Jordan and i needed to start this new year! we are so excited for what this year will bring. we can't wait!

the first few weeks of january

the first few weeks of January have been filled with sushi dates with husband, movie dates with husband, late-night Steak n' Shake with husband, staying up late playing Rummy and watching movies with husband, making dinner and eating desserts with husband; basically growing closer and dreaming together as we start a fresh year. i am so in love with this man and am bursting with excitement as i think about what this year holds for us.

also in January, my mom got married and a week after that we helped move into her new home! so exciting.

one sunny morning

 the first week of January, Jordan and i went on a breakfast date. we are not typically morning people so this rarely happens. it was a sweet time together after the busy holiday season.

i just love moments like these.
